Best season at temple 4 losses. main reason Temple improved under Golden was that it left the big east and went to a very week conference.

Al Golden is at best an average recruiter.

Al Golden is not a good speaker.

Al Golden should be way down the list of possible head Coaches.

Do I think this is happening? No. Do I think it NEEDS to happen? Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllll yes. As far as I am concerned, we look like a laughingstock until the announcement is made. We look inept.

First order of business (1) Keep the juniors from going to the N.F.L.
(2) Keep the current "Good" recruits on board to sign on National Signing Day
(3) Get some of the Miami recruits to come to U.T. rather than Miami.
(4) Assemble a staff but leave Jay Graham, Sam Pittman & D. Hinksaw on the staff.
(5) Promise the fan base that you will give us a refund if you don't perform up to standards... In other words, don't keep $5,000,000 that you did not earn...

And Hart too , if he would have went to the media and said that Dooley was his coach next year ( no matter the outcome of this season ) weeks ago , volnation would be happy and getting ready to buy tickets for a good bowl game and cheering our team and coach instead of the worst feeling ever after being beat bad by vandy . 9am EST would be perfect timing since Doug Matthews refuses to discuss candidates until there is an opening and his Big Orange Sunday show starts at 8am CST. Unless he's got a legitimate big fish on the hook with whom he's made a deal not to announce on Dooley until after the season, Hart needs to give the fans some hope for the future by making an annoucement ASAP.

Let the rumored names of who will be our next coach continue. Based on recent hires, I would bet the names thrown around on this board will not be who actually gets the job
