Dooley took over a job with at the time the lowest expectations in the history of the program and still underperformed. Yes we were a train wreck when he was hired but three years later the train is still off the tracks. I disagree that the new coach will be walking into a great situation though. Recruiting the last two years has been very average and this years class is looking even worse unless the new coach can make hay late. We are losing 95% of the offensive play makers to graduation or the NFL. We have no speed in the secondary and a d-line that couldn't get pressure on a team with 5 o-line starters out. We have one decent linebacker and he is slow as Christmas and after 3 years of pathetic we don't have a decent place kicker or punter. Regardless of who the coach is next year we will be picked to finish 6th in the east. Doesn't mean we will but the table isn't set for a new coach like some believe. All in all FIRE DOOLEY
