Butch Jones should be paid a premium salary as he has to clean up the disaster made by the 2 doofus hires that preceded him. No one wanted the job to clean up Chernobyl in the toughest conference in America but Butch has that task..

Include Jimmy Sexton on the list for selling garbage to Hamilton. As a VFL Sexton owed his alma mater better - he knew Hamilton was an idiot who could be played.

Anyway Vol athletics is under adult leadership with Dave Hart but fans have to endure a decade or more of rebuilding thanks to the bookkeeper from Clemson - Hamilton.

Based on....??? Stellar record as Raiders head coach (where he was fired) or his exemplary work at USC (where he was fired)??

Come on now Boca, I know you're half kidding, but it's all about current state of the program and expectations.... you know that.

When it was learned Fulmer's contract had a clause (or was rumored to anyway) that he would get an automatic extension if he (only) won a minimum of 8 games back in the day, VolNation went nuts. Right now 8 wins looks like a damn good season in the next year or 2. But if he gets UT back to challenging for championships, winning 10-11 games a year, and then falls back to only winning 8.... UT fans will be taking up collections to pay for the weekly UHaul vans that will occupy the street in front of his house. You know this as well as I do.

There actually should be a law that states you cant talk bad about Phil Fulmer and good about Lame Kiffin in the same statement. Death or life in prison should be the result. Just talking good about Lame should be a felony.
