Dooley's Twitter...

If his "twitter account" isn't successful clearly it's because of the administrator...or the computer, or the router, or the keyboard, ect...

I don't know how to break it to you, but U.T.'s record was 12-13 the two years prior to his taking the job. We were in the dark ages while he was at La. Tech.

Careful now, that might bring out a couple of the defensive Fulmerites since that 12-13 includes his regime, and the worst of the two years.

Keep in mind that he would've been bowling if he hadn't been fired when he was. It still possibly would've been worse, but just as possible equal if people didn't demand the AD to make a god-awful PR move.

Twitter is very useful for breaking news. I have an account and follow over 300 people, all of whom are either sports reporters/writers (90%) or general reporters for regular news (10%). I don't tweet at all, but twitter is a great place for instant news about all your favorite teams and the sports world in general.

Fake or not. He's gone. Move on.

I've never understood this.

Fulmer, Pearl, Dooley etc. were part of the program and people tell others to move on or ask what it has to do with Tennessee football/basketball. People start threads about former players all the time including players like Bryce Brown and people seem to have no issue with that. Why are coaches not as worthy of being spoken of and tied to the program?

Like it or not, Dooley is forever connected to Tennessee and he's as much of a Vol as any other 3 year player that's passed through. Maybe even more so considering he's from Athens, Georgia. His father is UGA legend. He attended graduate school at Georgia. And... he started his career out as a GA at Georgia. Dooley dawned orange every opportunity he could and is a converted Vol despite Georgia red running through his veins. Just to give you an idea of how much of a Vol Dooley is, I'll use Archie Manning as an example. When the Saints and Colts played in the Super Bowl, Archie said he wanted the Saints to win. The gist of his comment was that he would have pulled for Peyton if he hadn't already won a championship but since he had and the Saints hadn't, he was pulling for the Saints. The guy was so invested in the Saints that he wanted a bunch of players he didn't even know to beat his own son. Given all of Dooley's connections to Georgia and putting all of that aside to dawn Tennessee orange, he's as much of a Vol as anyone.

lol @ the OP, the poor kid really thought firing Dooley was gonna get us Gruden.

I can feel the bitterness and poutrage in his post.

Dooley's gone, get over it already. No one cares what you think.

If he didn't bother to tweet recruits I sure as hell don't see him tweeting a top 10 list. Someone should have taught him to tweet recruits 3 years ago.He is too much of a know it all to tweet or learn.

That can't be his actual account. For anybody that believes Derek Dooley himself typed that, I have some lovely beachfront property in Kansas for sale.

It's his account I was following it before he got fired and never dropped it. Fake accounts don't have 25000 plus followers. Tifyiw

Dooley and Clay Travis should start their own radio show together. Sort of like Pat Dye and Barbara Dooley did years ago. It would really be a different perspective since neither one of them know anything about football.
