The irony of the fans' reaction to these comments is funny. These sound almost like the EXACT things this board was saying when Kimbrow committed to Vanderbilt. I'm not saying the posters in either situation were/are correct, I'm just saying it seems a little hypocritical. I for one think it's a little pathetic that we're even responding to a thread about what Vandy's fan posted (including myself directly).
Checked on the Candy message boards. Here are a few messages about CBJ and Hurd...
"Agree with the sentiment above - it is a very, VERY long time until next season. Let's see if a third straight season without a bowl (and second straight loss to us) can change his mind...."
"I still don't believe that this kid ends up at UT. Butch is facing a schedule where they will, at best, win 6 games. It is much more likely that they win 4 or 5"
"I think the early commitment is actually bad for UT. They have to defend him for almost an entire year while every other top program (including VU) pursues the kid."
"If you've listened to what Jones has said and the actions he has taken, it's a duplication of what Franklin did his first year."
Just found it interesting. I know I shouldn't even be going over there...but I am easily amused by the window lickers. Doremats.
While it is somewhat entertaining making fun of a perineal loser, I think it is far more effective ignoring them. They are not even in the same class and therefore do not even deserve being discussed. Let em return back to the rock they crawled out from.
Because idiots on here keep posting about them.
It's a thread where we make fun of idiots. It's a fun thread man. Just relax and go with it. You don't like making fun of the circus freaks...oh wait you have always been one of the said circus freaks haven't you? You see what I did there. It's just a fun thread.
That's fine. I have a friend who is a Kentucky fan and I make fun of them every time I can around him. Is Kentucky worth my ridicule? No, but man it's fun to drive the dagger deeper.
I take the same approach for Candervaginabilt.
