Of the three players mentioned in this thread, only one would be considered a loss for the 2014 Sooners & he is still on the team & practicing pending a ruling by the OK Supreme Court and likely law suit that will follow if he loses the appeal.
DGB was never in our plans until this whole thing evolved and Joe Mixon was probably going to come out of fall camp as the #3 or #4 RB on the depth chart.
It should be of some concern to Vol. fans that Derrick Wood, the WR who made the circus catch vs Alabama in the Sugar Bowl is running with the 2's so by any measuring stick, the OU WR unit looks to be as strong as ever.
If you are hanging your collective hats on a win based on the three players involved in these separate incidents, you are making a big mistake.
And this has been the most injury free fall camp we have had in years.
Wow, really? I mean seriously, is your level of comprehension so low that after reading through the posts in this thread you think that we are "hanging our hats" on a win because a(nother) criminal didn't make it on your team? Are you really that ****ing stupid?
Or is it more likely that you are just an idiot okie fan trolling the board and looking for any excuse to brag-ass on your team and jumped at the chance to hint at what an ass whipping your team was gonna lay on ours.
So you take one post that essentially says "upsets happen, why not us this year" and turn in into us hanging our hat on a win, thereby giving you the opportunity to let us know how your team is so damn good that the guy who made an awesome play last year is only good enough for second string...
First, may I respond by saying "**** you, sir". Second, may I suggest remedial reading comprehension courses at your local community college or adult education facility...Or prison library if you happen to be a member of the team. Third, may I suggest you cease ****ing sheep out there on the farm - an activity that has been linked to syphillis which makes you bat-**** crazy if left untreated, as seems to have occurred in your case.
Sorry to disappoint, but the Sooners winning the game isn't really going to be a signature win they should "hang their hat on". The Vols are coming off some of the most difficult years in the history of the program, and while they are definitely showing signs of turning things around, they are still young, inexperienced, thin in a number of areas, have no returning starters on either line, and are in year two of rebuilding after suffering through three years of arguably the worst coach in the history of college football.
So take your weak-ass bragging elsewhere. You have a very talented team. Congratulations. Ours is finally showing life again after years of decline, and we're just happy to see things beginning to turn around. So you coming over here trying to start something is really pointless and, well, stupid.
In any case, enjoy your season. I'm going to support my team, hope they beat yours and are finally on the way back. And if by some chance the Vols do win the game (upsets happen, why not not us), I'm going to come back to this thread and claim forum cred.
You bastard.
