There was a UT fan in Sec 104 today who really didn't represent the fan base well. He refused to sit down in his seat, even though there was a majority of elderly people sitting directly behind him. He was the only fan in the whole section who was standing. He finally sat down after the usher threatened him with security. Me and my cousin were even yelling at him, hoping that if Tennessee fans were telling him to sit, that might appeal to him. He's lucky he didn't get his ass kicked by someone. Anyone else see it?

If there is a fan in front of you than wants to stand up get off your lazy ass and stand up too. There is no excuse in my mind for ridiculing a fan that wants to stand up at a basketball game.

I agree in 99% of the cases. But if it was elderly people don't stand the whole game.

It is about having respect for the elderly.

Not sure I understand. A fan stands to cheer his team so he's a douchebag?

Oh! I get it now. The blue hairs in the same section are douchebags cause they sat their crippled, osteoporosis ass in their seats instead of, heaven forbid, they cheer for their team.

Only thing worse than a douchebag is a blue haired douchebag.

The only ass whipping I saw was Bama kicking our butt.

If you can't stand, stay home. There is a slight chance that someone may want to stand at a live sporting event with thousands of people. I know its crazy, just the way it is. Get over it.

Get a life!!!! What did this guy who wanted to stand up cause all you fans to miss??? The worst SEC game UT played this year, for sure, and at the worst possible time. Except for Richardson, we couldn't throw it in the ocean against the bammer zone, and really, if you missed seeing part of it, consider yourself lucky!!!

When 98% of people are not standing, don't stand. Come on use some common sense. I was in 106 and several of us stood at diferent times and as some sat down we would all sit again. It's really not that hard to get along. Some of you blow me away!!

It's normally some stupid chicks drinking and dancing to no music. They are so cool.
They must be suffering from the look at me because I am special and need attention syndrome.
