You care so little that you went to his wiki page to discredit him. Seems you could actually care less.

It had nothing to do with who he picked to win the game, as Lofton suggested. That's all I'm saying. I took issue with his comment about Tyler Smith, and this is pretty obvious from my first post, to my last. Would you not agree?

I put more stock in what the local weatherman said in his 10 day forecast than what an ESPN EXPERT says about our first round match-up with a WAC powerhouse.

Except he never said anything about be inconsistent. He said we are junk.

BTW, How do you define good tourney teams?

CBS gave a stat sometime over the weekend pointing out the stats of the last number of tournament champs (I forget how many years). I don't think we met any of them.

Almost sent me into a fit of rage when he picked SDSU to beat Tennessee in the first round.

He has the nerve to say "Tennessee fell apart when Tyler Smith got kicked off the team."

WTF

He must didn't see the games when we beat Kentucky and Kansas.

You went a long way to discredit the guy. Why would you beat down the comment about Tyler and then point out his criminal past if you weren't trying to discredit his opinion regarding the game?

The guy is a douchebag and annoying as all hell, but he does dig into vollege hoops more than any of the other analysts.

I mentioned his criminal past because Doug is always pro-thug when it comes to players getting dismissed. I'm not trying to discredit his opinion regarding the game because I don't care.

I think Doug Gottlieb is going to be right about the game as much as I thought Lunardis "bracketology" would be right. Experts, I say. Experts.

Actually, I remember Gottlieb critcizing Pearl for a while now, especially on his radio show a few times, so I'm not too suprised.

The first round upset is okay with me, but to say this team fell apart after T. Smith left? Is he serious?

Hey, why did you leave 2 pages ago Lofton? Still looking for my post when I supposedly cared about who your boy Doug picked to win the UT-SDSU game? You can stop looking, because you wont find it.

2 pages ago?

Still on page 2 man. But I wouldn't expect you to be able to adjust any settings.

And for the record, Gottlieb isn't my boy. I just like calling out your Backwoods Logic.

do I need to look up positing for you?

i was just curious. Because there are a lot of teams in the tourney who don't meet that definition of a "good team" yet they all seem to single out tennessee.

btw, you don't need to act so defensive about everything and be so snarky. lighten up

Until I make you look like an idiot, then you vanish and don't return until you have another irrelevant troll to post.l I was upset when you and BPV suddenly disappeared. Glad you are back now, though.

Maybe we can figure out what we were debating earlier. Can you find where I am so upset about who Gottlieb picked to win the game, as you asserted earlier?

Please stick around this time.

Let me get this right if UT the #6 seed beats SDSU the #11 seed ESPN will deem this an UPSET?:whistling:

No, it will never be mentioned again. Just like every other time they are wrong.
And to think, some posters on this site go out of their way to defend ESPN analysts. :eek:lol:

damned if you do damned if you don't. obviously beating two of the best teams this year is just a fluke, so beating SDSU, Georgetown, and Ohio State would be a fluke too. We will have to win the championship to get any respect and if we do, we will always hear how weak the field was this year......

.....ok, i'm exaggerating just a little bit

I'm not being defensive. I'm just making a point, just as you are.

Tennessee didn't get singled out. Tourney success isn't all that tough to get a handle on. We don't have it for several reasons.

the bad flukes heavily outweigh the good flukes. More even keel with solid wins is a good recipe.

As stated before, finding a reasonable post from you is like trying find a needle in a haystack.

You discredited someone's opinion because at one point in their life they made a mistake.

Backwoods, hillbilly logic.

Since you're arguing about Tyler Smith. Would you or would you not want him in the lineup for the tourney?
