Drake Maye offered $5 million in NIL money by 2 schools

According to Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi, UNC Quarterback Drake Maye was offered $5 million in NIL money by 2 different schools. Narduzzi doesn't disclose the 2 schools, except to say 'take 2 of the top 10', which probably doesn't strictly mean teams ranked top 10 at the moment, but 2 that are routinely up there on NIL.

Who are your all's guesses on the 2 schools?

Georgia is my best guess on the 1st one. Florida, Texas A&M, Bama, USC (looks like Caleb Williams will still be there), and Ohio State are all possibilities on the 2nd. It's possible, but seems unlikely, that we went after him (seems more likely we've tried to get Hartman than Maye).
You can bet your last dollar it wasn’t Florida Napier can’t even get his 5 star quarterback to sign. Then he goes to the portal and gets himself another interception machine. What a disaster of a hire this is going to end up being. This is one Florida fan who will not buy tickets until he’s gone.

I think teams are going to realize there will be no sanctions in response to tampering.
The Jordan Addison case was completely a slam dunk. It is obvious nothing was done.
Now it's opens season.
Conferences might say something, but unless the tampering is done within the Conference, it will not matter

I know 100% one of the teams. It was confirmed that they reached out to him and offered $5 million +.
Not hard to guess who……..

Saban won't go quietly and allow UGA to assume a dominant position in the conference. Should be interesting to see who the kid would like to play for. Nicky or Kirby. Tough decision.

Considering Thomas and Lovitt committed to UGA, I don't think it would be too hard to guess.

UGA and OSU. I would pick Florida but I’m not sure they’re smart or committed enough to make that play.
Also, You are remember when Kirby kept reminding everyone that they did not hit the portal at all? I guess he can’t see that next year.
Thank goodness we have Chick Fil A of college football and their leader Dabo doing things God’s way and not playing these games at all. Bless them.

I don’t think it would be a tough decision. One has 3 players starting in the NFL, the other has runoff every 5 star they’ve ever had.
