Maybe Griffin, Horne and Siminic should be on there as well.

Horne's in there. For clarification, the list was of guys who quit the team. I count Horne. Griff and Simunic finished here. But yes, Griff was the main target year one, along with Lockwood.

You can group Lockwood in with him. He ran off two of our best hitters after year one so he could get his "gorilla ball" players in.. good call TR. I know it's beating a dead horse, but the things he did were so ridiculous its hard not to.

I thought you and I already clarified that Lockwood made his own bed. You sure are hard headed.

I didn't see Horne. Why don't I recognize your screen name? You post here often?

Dealing with CTR and his halitosis would lead anyone to the gonja :whistling:

By the way, saw a movie that reminded me of UT baseball the last few years real early this morning.

Beau Geste

CTR playing the role of Sergeant Major Dagineau . Machine gunning his own men. Except Raleigh would have allowed the Tuaregs to capture the fort and would have blamed his pitching coach.

by the way, this is the 1969 version. Not even close to the novel.

I'm fairly sure that I said it was mainly his fault, but that Raleigh sealed the deal when he casted him into the shadows. In no way am I saying that Lockwood wasn't at fault in that situation, just think that TR handled the situation very poorly along with a few others.

He is a closet Vandy fan. What do you expect?

Not the case, although it would be much easier to be in terms of baseball. Just pitiful the amount of in-state talent we've missed on the last few years. UGA, Clemson, Vandy, Kentucky, and Memphis among others have very good players that are from East Tennessee alone. I'm not even going to start going into the Middle/West TN talent we've missed. Hopefully Serrano can turn that trend around.

I guess I just misunderstood what you were trying to do by using all of those HoF pitchers.. my bad.

We're good, altidore. My bad right back atcha. I am always overly optimistic about the Vols in all sports, but we've NEVER had any HoF pitchers and I don't expect one. I am excited about us in baseball now, though. Really love the feeling.
