Congrats man I'm really happy for you. My oldest son goes to MTSU ( Conf USA Rival) and they have a guy that just got out of the marines playing for them at age 24?? He plays Sp Teams and DE. Look forward to seeing you at that game. What number are you going to be?

Hoping from a post from this guy. Would be very interesting to see what someone on the team has to say leading up to the game.

I made a thread back last year about me starting to play for a Semi Pro team here in Alabama. Well my hard work is paying off. I have been accepted to University of South Alabama and I will be a on to the football team. The coach and I talked a few weeks ago and he said they would love to have me. I am 27 years old and will be pretty old lol but getting to play college football has always been my dream. The unique thing about all of this is I will get to travel up and play in Neyland. That is HUGE to me, getting to be on the field with the team I have loved my entire life. I can not wait until that day gets here I will be super Stoked. SO guys just wanted to share this with you. I will be wearing number 28 so look for me on that day, in the mean time I will be coming to the Orange and White game this weekend cause unfortunately I won't be able to come to any games during the regular season exept for when we strap up together haha

great to hear. Keep us posted on your progress

Boss, if you read this take this to heart. You play your ass off for your team. You can be a Vol fan anytime you want to. You only have a couple years or so to play with your team mates and be part of something special. Good luck Saturday, play hard, celebrate with your team, keep the Vols in your heart next to S. Al, and above all I wish you a safe game!
