Yes, it was. We got our rear ends handed to us tonight. Duke beat us in every aspect of the game. I hope we meet them again in another week. It can't get any worse. Unfortunately, I have a feeling this is 2010 all over again: another Duke national championship by players whose NBA careers will last about 5 minutes. To Coach K be the glory though. How he does it, I have no clue.

I'm just curious: why do so many people seem to hate Roy Williams? My dad dislikes him as well, and he's even a UNC fan (although that's seemed to wan here the last decade or two). I have no clue why. I think he just doesn't like the way he looks or something. Only thing I can figure out. I'm not griping. I'm just curious. The guy seems really likable and easy to relate to, although he has his flaws like any coach under constant media scrutiny. But everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. I'll admit I think K is a much better coach, but I just don't get the Ol' Roy hate.

My hatred goes back to 1998, when Roy accused John Pelphrey and Billy Donovan of cheating after Mike Miller chose UF over Kansas.

Mike Montgomery is on that list too.

Both of those guys went whining to the NCAA after getting outworked on the recruiting trail by a very young Donovan and his staff.

I don't hate Ol' Roy, but my dislike of him starts where your last sentence ends. I don't buy his aww shucks huckleberry routine. People always make a big deal about how K is so vulgar, and he is, but Roy plays his schtick up with his "daggum this" or "gosh darn" that and then he goes on national TV and says he doesn't give a **** about North Carolina, which I agree with. He has also dropped several F Bomb's during post game interviews. I'm not aware of anytime that K has done that. Coach K is who he is, he's in your face and demands respect and at all times. Roy I think is disingenuous and sometimes it shows with the effort of his guys. I think he is an alright X's and O's guy, and I think he is a tremendous recruiter and perfect for UNC. Honestly, he's a great coach. His #'s speak for themselves, he just has this other guy who coaches 8 miles away from him who is better. Not his fault, it would be that way for anyone.

I think Carolina should have been a higher seed, but oh well. Potential matchup against Kansas just looked too good to the committee I guess.

West region is a joke

Yeah I am really pissed with Duke's draw, just like you should be with UNC's. UNC is not an 8 seed. They are at worst a 6, not a lot of respect for the ACC. The Vols not getting in is complete bull****, like Bilas said "It's not who you beat, it's who you lost to". The committee did a poor job if you ask me. I just wish Duke had the opportunity to play Ole Miss and beat the **** out of Marshall Henderson.

So um, that stud Ryan Kelly sure was the difference to a Dook championship. He totally was more important than Kendall Marshall.... /
