But it will be all about coaching for the next three years. It's the same challenge that Dooley faced.

Keep in mind that a lot of the lesser programs that have got better have done so because they started running the spread. Look at texas a&M: Mediocre for 20 years; change coaches, install the spread, find a good spread QB, and a team expected to be terrible beats bama and expectations, and the freshman QB wins the Heisman (does anyone really care that much about the Heisman anymore?) I don't even know what offense Jones runs, but he and his staff will need to be big-time coaches for us to climb back to the top. Let's hope they are.

Honest question, how in the hell can anyone possibly believe you are a Vol fan ? Better yet, you have to be delusional to believe it yourself.

We have to look at the total class... Saying that if the fans of tn accept a coach that can only recruit average players we r screwed...

Its a fact that your class has to be balanced with all type but u have to have play makers without them u r n trouble.

I will say it again if hart hired a coach that can only get 3 star recruits until we win we should demand a change in our ad.... Come on people u dont hire a new coach knowing he cant recruit with the big boys..

If u can recruit u recruit win or lose... Wake the f$$k up volnation its not ok to sux...

The Vols weren't the only team to come after Wiesman strong the past several weeks as Ohio State pushed for the 6-foot-4, 280-pound offensive linemante:

I think if Ohio St was interested,we should take! DMF!

Smelly Posts... smells like a bunch of losers who have begun to like b!tching more than winning ! Sounds like some lack the testicular fortitude to support the Orange. Its like we have a bunch of "but" fans, if we win they say "we won but....", they would rather us lose so they can show off there interweb saviness by slinging insults and condemning everyone involved in hopes of being right so they can call "dibbs" on who was first to jump off the band-wagon ! Idiots

Welcome aboard! Just curious whether anyone knows approximately how many 4-5* offensive linemen are out there this year. I don't follow recruiting a great deal but I don't usually hear about a lot at that position.

You can't equate that to regular season games. They don't count for anything and half of the SEC teams think they should have been in a better bowl or NC game so they really didn't care. Some of best players already have their heads turned to NFL.

The 3*'s for Butch Jones at Cincinnati beat the 3*'s of Louisville 2 out of 3 years with a loss in OT this year...well then those 3*'s laid wood to the tails of the full roster of 4*-5*'s of the mighty #3 Florida Gators. So how much of that is due to system/coaching or player growth and poor * evaluation.

Remember how many 5*'s and 4*'s are on A&M's roster that beat Bama? Or on Stanford's roster or Kansas St.'s teams? System and superior coaching can make up for alot of inadequate athleticism.
