I know man. I’m giving you guys a hard time. i get your skepticism . I just really want this to be good. I’m pretty sure I stumbled upon a hidden PS5 On my wife’s side of the closet the other day, and it’s basically for NCAA.

Really hope if comes out on PC because there is an outstanding modding community for madden that makes the game so much better.

I would say, no. Matt Brown has been one of the go to guys for info on the game and he’s said he expects something during the national championship game, but everyone should temper their expectations because it won’t be any type of game play trailer.

Well, I’m not to shocked considering Matt Brown was always saying to temper expectations and yesterday morning even tweeted that it likely wouldn’t even be a release date that we get, but the anti EA crowd definitely has a gripe today. Pretty low with all the hype and rumor about some type of announcement yesterday to do nothing and not even say prior that the rumors are unfounded and they won’t be putting anything new out.

Annoyed with EA not doing anything, but also don’t think it’s a huge concern as far as game being delayed again or anything. Hate that Matt is now saying he’s likely going to report on it less now. He got a ton of hate last night when he was one of the few telling everyone to temper their expectations.

I bitched on here bc I wanted a small sliver of info, but people on social media are so incredibly dumb.

There's only one important thing to think about. They didnt market it at all. When a game company(especially one the size of EA) doesnt market at the biggest stage for the game they are making. It is a huge red flag. Advertisement is king in todays world, even if the product is bad. I seriously have a feeling they are struggling with the Ultimate Team aspect of it, which has took over EA sport games. The games are now completely designed around that mode. If Ultimate Team was a company, It would probably be a fortune 500 company. If they cant sell you digital cards, they will not care about this game.

If ultimate team is all they’ll push around this game, it will fail regardless.

But I have a hard time believing 14 had ultimate team and this one wouldn’t.

-It’s January and the game is supposed to be released this summer
-No release date
-Not a peep from EA
-No trailer or teaser
-No preorder

They don’t put Madden up for pre order until a couple months before release.

MLB The Show comes out in March and we haven’t heard anything about it yet.

Sports games do that.

That is true, I just haven’t paid attention much lol. I haven’t pre ordered anything in a long time, maybe I remember wrong, but years ago when I was a teenager, I seem to remember being able to pre-order months in advance.

You would just figure with a big release like NCAA after 10 years, they would be pumping that ****.

Not uncommon, not even for ncaa games before. They did usually make smaller announcements during the national championship game, but typically the new NCAA games didn’t start dropping a lot of new info until the early spring. Which lines up pretty well with what the people who have been reporting in good faith on the game have said they have heard from EA. It’s also been reported EA is unhappy with how much has been leaked already. Not sure if that played into their decision to not release anything yesterday, but I’d say there is a chance.

It’s a little different in the digital era. The longest pre order I’ve seen in recent years is yakuza had one up for 6 months or so
