The process of installing the software to jailbreak the system takes about an hour. Maybe longer. I did it a little while ago so my memory is a little foggy. Once you install the software the updates are easy. When you do the initial jailbreak software you definitely have to pay attention closely to the directions . If you have the time I would recommend doing it. It’s a better version of the game.

How difficult and how much time did it take to do the playoff tool ?

The installation was simple enough and there are YouTube videos with complete walkthroughs. Looks like it's just knowing which files to import and how to navigate to them. I'm halfway through my current season, so I will try it out, hopefully in the next few weeks.

Will do! How much does a PS3 go for these days?

So let me get this straight. With the upgrades you can basically play the '14 game as if it was new with actual players, new unis and CFP and everything??

This is correct. Updated Georgia Dome and other stadiums too.

I play this game a bit, but man it stresses my cpu for some reason. Like temps of 85-90 before my cooler cranks up. I have a 13th gen cpu too, so not sure what I am doing wrong. Any clue?

The last update I have (to be fair there may be a newer one in the last couple of months) had the white helmet with black uniform combo. Havent seen the black helmet other than the greys, if you call those black.

Rpcs3 is a processor hog, those are the temps I hit on my 5950 with a 360mm AiO when playing. Toasty, but if it’s stable and doesn’t reach that 100 degree cut out point you’re ok.

Aight, glad its not just me lol. I get worried about warping the chip, ordered one of those plates for intel socket which may or may not help lol.

They did a new update last week with all the updated unis. Orange and black helmets, also orange socks/tights from 2021 music City Bowl are included. I can’t bring myself to use the orange helmets.

You have to go to the website and save it to a thumb drive and then upload it on the PS3. Takes about 20-25 minutes for it to copy onto the system depending on the size of the update.

That’s significant, especially when you consider that’s it’s also easing the load of your cooling system. I’d call that a win.
