Eagles vs Redskins MNF

It also seems to be designed around combining that with just...how to properly word it...the fact that it takes a player - save a wide receiver - less energy to run an offensive play than it does to run a defensive play.

And then to try to take further advantage of that by preventing substitutions on the defensive side of the ball

Exactly. I'm currently arguing with a friend about it.

I like where our offense is at. If we hadn't turned the ball over the first three drives this is a different game. We can bounce back from this.

Lets not think about Philly taking the foot off the gas pedal after the first half. This game could possibly be 66-20 at this point.

Do I like it?

No

Is there a rule against it?

No

That's why I said it felt like exploiting a loophole.

I get as long as there's no rule, it's perfectly fine.

It is also though part of what's making football more of an offensive game

(I know people tend to complain more about penalties with that last idea, but one could say that playing style or things like this are what's doing so as well)

Good comeback by the Skins. Philly needs to work on finishing their opponent, can't let people back in the game like that

Skins need to not have 3 TOs on the first 3 possessions. Would have(and should have) been a different game

Avant screwed up Kelly's gameplan and we got super conservative.

The defense I was worried about finally showed up.

But all that matters is that W.

Night, DC.
