What time is Sanders signing?
at one point there was a count down on his 247 profile that said 7 hours til he signs, that was around 9:30, so i'll guess around 3 or 4 pm?
I don’t think Onis is worth chasing.
that's fine...i'm not reallya advocating one way or the other at this point...i always hate it when we lose a kid, but i don't think he was a bell cow for this class. nice piece. probably replaceable.

I agree with you. I dont think he would be a contributor here. He plays in a very average private school league here in SC with not a whole lot of talent. Unless he has just absolutely showed out at camps??? I think he would be more of a project player.

So where will UT's ranking go with Perlotte, Campbell. and Morris?

I see TX just got themselves a nice surprise.

I may update my question as events warrant.

When is Sanders supposed to sign?

I think Sanders is supposed to announce around 4pm? Isaiah Campbell is 430pm. We are expected to land Campbell AND Perlotte even though neither are current commits. Campbell would be our 2nd highest rated recruit i think behind only Sanders? Hes a top50 player nationally and no2 Dline. Hopefully we add another DB in Merritt too...

Like a clock...lol

Always 1 or 2 5 stars away from truly elite ✨️ πŸ€”

I like this class a lot.though.
Agreed. I like this class as well.

Since we’re playoff bound and ACTUALLY making noise on the football scene again, I’m confidently going to say Brandon’s class will be the first truly elite class.

All the guys we have currently committed are all 4*. (Bacon and Outlaw will be 4*)

@TrippieRedd not sure how you feel, but I think where we have narrowed that 10-12 signing day ranking gap is that our portal hauls and roster retention have been elite. Top 3 maybe? I would put us top 5 holistically with no homer bias involved.
No bias opinion says we would fall somewhere in the 5-7 range.

Is there a way to calculate that? (If someone has, then I’d love to look at it)

We recruit well. I wouldn't say we recruit at the level of Bama. Georgia, and Texas, though. Or Ohio State. But this staff has done very well with who they get. The imagination can't help but wonder, though, what this staff could do with the truly elite talent.

If you take our recruiting rankings since Heupel has been here, then add in transfers and retaining important pieces it’s up there.

Just use rankings for recruits, then sit and think about the impact our transfers have had since Heupel has been HC.

We would probably be in the elite category.

If you go to 247, they do a ranking where they combine the high school recruiting class with the portal class. But, it doesn't factor in the players you lose to the portal.

As for elite, I don't think we've quite made it there. I think we're just the tier below. Doesn't mean we can't compete with the elite on the field, but we're not overflowing with the talent that teams like Bama, Texas, and UGA have on their rosters.
