Classic cold chasing moisture setup. Maybe a dusting on the grass in the central and southern valley. Plateau and Northeast TN could see 1-2 inches with locally higher amounts possible in the higher elevations.

Oh I just follow the winter stuff for fun, kinda clueless on predictions. Just seems like for once the cold air got in place while a lot of moisture is still here.

It’s starting to snow hard and stick to the grass. It will be interesting to see what happens with this.

I just watched the snow get larger and heavier in a period of about 30 minutes here off Pellissippi.

Well, looks like a big miss by almost everybody BUT David Aldrich! Snow changed over here at 2 and the flakes are getting larger with it coming down harder. Sad that it rained so much! It’ll be hard to stick but I’m expecting 1-3 area wide with 2-4 in heavy band set ups which I see hitting around 8-9.

They said the changeover happened sooner than anticipated and that only means that the precip will too
