I would love it. Just a lot of factors goes in with him...does he get the UF OC job...or does he get passed over and jump ship. If he does that...you also gotta think Mullen may offer him a high title position at MSU...

If he is offered the FL OC job, he stays. We trump MSU with money and opportunity,:good!:
True on if he gets the OC job at florida...he is the most logical choice on staff...
I don't know however what kind of working relationship he has with Mullen...that could be a deciding factor as well.

You maybe right, but OC @UT > OC@MSU
Heard a rumor, that he was not a lock for the OC @ FL, and that Meyer may go outside current staff. Maybe a Trooper type situation. Give me the Job or Im gone,:salute:

Gonzales' been with Urban Meyer since '01 at Bowling Green...plus it looks like CUM(hahhahahahahhah) was an assistant at Col. State when BGonz was a player there. Kind of hard to believe they aren't close and couldn't get over a little spat between the two of them. Still, I'm optimistic.
On the Gonzales note:
I strongly feel that Urban Meyer will be in South Bend after next season. (I don't see Charlie Weis winning more than 8 games next season. If he doesn't he is gone). Urban has always said that ND is his dream job, and he stated this again this week. If Weis is gone, i say 95% chance Urban will be headed to ND.
So, I think this might be a factor in the Gonzales hire also. If BGonz knows this(and i'm sure he does) he would be smart to take the OC here if we offer. If there would be a new coach in Gainesville in 2010, his job could be in jeopardy. If he comes here, job security is higher. Just another thought.
