Or he could stay and take the OC job at Florida and plan to pursure the head coaching job at Florida when Meyer leaves. Maybe if that was his thinking.

Maybe, but i highly doubt that Florida would hire a guy who had been an OC for only 1 year. They will more than likely go outside of the program to find a replacement. (This is of course only if Meyer jumps ship after next year like i think he will)
