Sorry to change the subject away from Heather.....Did anyone hear and I realize its from a bad source ....Mike Griffith say that ZO told him that Armani Moore was a beast and if he played typical AAU he would have been as good as most five stars....He supposedly told Mike that Armani is underrated and couldnt wait till people get to see him play.

Missed that.

I like Moore, would've been noticed more if he played the whole sr season, not just half. I've thought for awhile and still do think he gets the backup point minutes.

Something I've also heard...if teams zone and moore or josh are stable at PG, there's a good chance well split golden onto te wing. Gives us the tall PG to see and pass over the zone and another slasher shooter on the wing in golden.

IMHO, Moore is the best of Cuonzo's non-Jarnell signees by a clear distance.

More valuable than Edwards?

This is the time of the year when every incoming guy is going to play right away. This happened last year. I actually googled some of Cuonzo's comments about Josh and Washpun. He had nothing but high praise for both of them. Same thing for Chievous and Yemi. Chievous red-shirted, Washpun was a disaster, Yemi had his moments but basically looked like what you thought a 3* big man, new to basketball would look like. Richardson is the only one that produced anything on a consistant basis and his stat line isn't much to write home about. What do people expect Martin to say about these kids? He isn't a sunshine pumper, but he isn't going to drag his own guys through the mud to the media, especially the ones he just recruited. Almost every comment I have seen Martin make about his players are generalities, his supposed comment, "that Armani is underrated and couldnt wait till people get to see him play," doesn't say anything more than Cuonzo thinks the kid can play in the SEC. He isn't promising this year, or next year, or even the one after that. Only that Moore was underrated (not hard considering he was a 2*) and Martin thinks he can play. Well, I hope so since he gave the kid a scholarship. But let's not forget, he thought Washpun could contribute too. I would just like to see them play, in Italy and the exhibition games, before people start assuming that any of the new guys are going to do more than occupy a seat on the bench or don a red-shirt.

It wasn't coach speak like you are talking about....I was just briefly summarizing...he said Moore played in small gyms bc he was faithful to his team so he was not ranked as one of the top players in the country and it was griffs opinion that it would prove to a lot of fans that Zo knows what he is doing in recruiting
