If you knew that, then why did you use the opposite as an argument? He either honors the commitments or not. He did, they chose to back out.
If you were in the Senate I bet you would have been 'for it before you were against it'.
Arguments do not go this way:
Person 1: "I think point A"
Person 2: "I think point B"
Person 1: "I KNOW it's point B. I've known it all along. GAH! Why are you bringing this up!"
No one is going to come where they are not wanted. The expectation was never for either Boyd or Petty to come to UT regardless of the fact that they were not wanted. There is no other way to put it other than their commitments weren't honored. They committed and were told they weren't wanted. That is as close as you can get to not honoring a commitment. It's not like I said their offer was pulled, I just said their commitments weren't honored. Geez. Why are you all pointing to things that can be interpreted differently versus actually addressing the concerns that were voiced? You're wasting your time clarifying information that is common knowledge.
