The wording confused the hell out of a lot of people. We did more voting outreach in Tennessee trying to explain what the amendments meant than we did campaigning for many candidates. The amendments were super annoying voting.. terrible legalese and I didn’t understand them.. I tried to crash read them lol.. my Dad said they were trying to confuse everyone on purpose lol (oh, well, my fault for not being prepared)
Is it a new district? As in a redrawn directly given redistricting that happened?
Voting yes on Amendment 3 meant you want to remove the language that allows slavery and indentured servitude for inmates from the state constitution. Inmates can still work, but the state can't force them to do so now.I thought it had something to do with if you could make people work in jail lol,, whoever constructed that baby was high
