Embarrassing enough they dumped the water on Cheney but

It's great to be part of a fan base that thinks dousing an interim, soon to be fired, unsuccessful OC after winning against another fired coache's Team that has been 1-27 against you...

Oh forget it....plenty of losers here to go right along with this 2012 Team...

I want our Tennessee Vols back!

It was about the hair. No one touched dooley's doo.

Dooley straightened and plastered his hair in place. No doubt about it. There are other photos where it looks far more normal but for whatever reason he chose to go for politician hair and that's only achieved by plastering and straightening even straight hair.

how's that done?

If you're asking about straightening and plastering. The usual method for ppl who already have straight hair is a hot iron, and hairspray (a blow drier instead of natural drying also helps). Some curly headed men and women use a perm but instead of rollers straightening methods are used. Yes, I have curly headed dudes in the fam and have also had too much experience with politics.

I'm only embarrassed by some of the so called vol fans on here. Some of you need to grow up and have probably never played a football game at any level. I think it was a big win for chaney. He held this team together after what was a horrible year and a crazy week after they quit last week. I've played football at many levels and this is a show of respect and a fun way to say thanks to your coach. It was not so much about who we beat but more of a thank you for what you've done for us. Also for someone to step up and coach a good game being that he had never been in that spot was a big moment in his career. It's about the kids and they are thankful for what he did for them and how he did it. It was also a sign to any other coach that is thinking about coming here that this team can be together with the right leadership! You guys should be embarrassed to act as childish as you do to bash on our kids when they have fought through and stick through the toughest situation that any football kids have ever been through. They where dealt ****ty hands and stuck it out when you childish sob s would have put your tails between your legs an ran!!!!

This post is childish

Doesn't matter to me. Chaney got these kids to play and win. That sideline looked as comfortable and unified as we've seen it in years. I thank the interim head coach for having this team focused. Let him have his gatorade bath.

It was a good way to end a disaster. It was great to actually see Tennessee win an SEC game for a change.

Now let us all hope we find someone who can win more than one per-season.

Happy for chaney. 4 years as an oc and he has one of the best offenses in cfb. Wish the man the best of luck wherever he goes. The man will have a job waiting on him as soon as he goes.

Coach Cheney's look kinda reminded me of the old days. All that orange and whipping Kentucky like we should! Which brings me to a curious question. Do any of you think he would have done a better job than Dooley did this year? I dont think he could have any worse.
Thoughts?

Give Chaney credit he directed an offense that put up the numbers any college HC would want.....lower point totals were because of the team's quitting on Dooley. MO game sent a clear message to players. Miss St game did too....

Dooley could not right the ship because of several reasons. Most importantly it was his way or the highway. It did not work

If he could have convinced Wilcox and Sirmon to stay, maybe. I wasn't a CJW fan, but Continuity and a DC with a brain would've helped us beat UGA, UFA, MSU, and MU.
If I were a small school I'd give CJC and interview

I agree. I said earlier to a buddy if we had kept J. wilcox we would have won more of those close games, like the ones you mentioned. I think he could get a small school HC-ing job then maybe work his way up if thats what he wants.

I could see JC getting a chance somewhere like Cutcliffe at Duke, or June Jones at SMU. I'm not sure how he would do, but there are worse coordinators to hire.

CJC pulled the team together and helped them get a win at a really hard time. He is probably done after this year. If the players want to give him a Gatorade shower, let em.

Seriously...does anyone think if Dooley was on that sideline we would've won the game. Cahney deserves and got the credit and makes you wonder if he were on the sideline for the VU game what the outcome would've been?
