Originally I didn't think he would go Tennessee because of Pastner's hiring at Memphis. I thought Cal would beat the pavement in trying to get him but I don't hear or see the interest in the media. Indiana is in dire straits, so Tennessee may be in great shape now to land him, but we will see. You stated Tennessee had no chance, when EVERYBODY, including those close to the program, say it's Tennessee and Memphis. You stated your opinion as fact: "We have no chance! It's Memphis or Indiana."

Well, Steve Forbes, Rob Lewis, Brent Hubbs, et al, disagree.

I have heard that Memphis is the front runner right now with UT being a very close second.

Yeah, I've said all along I think he's going to Memphis. But we should be getting the first visit once the dead period ends.

I understand what experts think is his best chance, but if he went to memphis would he not be in line behind Dozier, Simpkins, Garcia, and Witherspoon? I think he would be in line with UT as well, I can see him sliding into a starting role with IU.

I just have a hard time seeing how ANY recruit would take Memphis over UT...I mean why oh why would you want to live 4 years in Memphis?...Tiger high...UT is big and beautiful with a good football team and nice looking girls...Got to go into Mississippi to meet good looking girls on that side of the state :)

Well the most obvious reason is that Memphis went to a National Championship Game. As far as being in Memphis for 4 years more than likely that won't happen as well, will probably move to the NBA after 2.

Well Honestly, it will be hard to not like Indiana, with the tradition and all, but then he'll realize they will suck while he is there. GT could be a darkhorse, but I doubt it.

So, it'll come down to UT and Memphis.

I think Pearl lands him. JMO.

Isn't Coach Cal in China or something right now? Not sure if it matters.. but I doubt it's really helping the situation, but I'm sure Memphis will be right there as long as he takes that visit.

Doubt it really eliminates them... they'll win more than they lose.. but it definetly assures Memphis and Tennessee a very good chance after he takes the visit there... so I guess expect him to finish out his visits and not commit earlier.
