We're throwing a dinner party Saturday night for the occasion. Probably going to read some apocalyptic literature to get everyone in the mood.

Nothing like hitting the hookah after a big dinner and plenty of drinks while waiting for the world to end.

This is what confuses me. I'm hearing near midnight Jerusalem time, which would be about 6pm east coast, I guess. But is that midnight Jerusalem, at 0:00:01 on the 21st, which would be 20th here, or 0:00:01 on the 22nd, which would be the 21st here.

I guess we'll just have to make it a 48 hour party, to be sure.

No biggie, really. This is just the rapture. We still get the period of tribulation to repent, convert, and suffer horribly until October 21st. I like to think of it as the divine "fudge factor."

It would still be the 20th here, which is why the party should be Friday.

trUT's dinner party will be lame, since the end of the world should have been well underway by then, if it's on the 21st.

Jeru is, what, 7 hours ahead of me (central)? So if it is 6:00 pm on the 21st, it would be the 22nd on the Mount.

Methinks the Rapture isn't planned around US time. So I'm with you, this is going down Friday here in heathen land.

Nah. He'll either:
1. State he wasn't one of the chosen.
2. He did it to expand the word; millions of Americans that night, in fear of what he and Camping put together, got on their knees and prayed for salvation.

Ie: He was simply helping convert the masses. Money well spent, he'll say.
