42 percent of 12,000 equals around 5000. Wow, what a takeover?People making these graphics are so clueless. We are not buying 42% of total tickets. Lets say out of over 100k tickets 20 or 30% of them enter resell market. We buy up 42% of those tickets. That’s around 12k tickets. Assuming there aren’t any Ohio fans buying that live in Tennessee. Even if we miraculously had as many fans as these people would like to make it appear there, they will be dotted here and there. Lol

No. 20% of 100k is 20,000. Then, you buy up 42% of those to get 12k. We may very well have 20-30k there, but people expecting to see their stadium halved are insane lol. I’ll eat my crow if I’m wrong.42 percent of 12,000 equals around 5000. Wow, what a takeover?
There are not 100,000 tickets on the resale market. Fuzzy math? No. 20% of 100k is 20,000. Then, you buy up 42% of those to get 12k. We may very well have 20-30k there, but people expecting to see their stadium halved are insane lol. I’ll eat my crow if I’m wrong.
Edit: I know the actual number is something like 11.6k, but for the sake of not knowing how many are on the market 12 I rounded lol. You get the point though. I have even seen news channel five pushing this stadium half orange narrative with the 42% slapped on top of it. It’s false information.
I would hope I wouldn’t have to break it down for people, but I guess maybe I wasn’t clear enough. We’ll use 100k for the shoe even though it holds a couple thousand more. If we pick a number for the resell market (being 20%) that comes out to 20,000 tickets up for resell. Now, if Tennessee fans are gobbling up 42% of ~20,000 that puts us at 11.6-12k give or take a few. There are not 100,000 tickets on the resale market. Fuzzy math?
I have said this too. Exactly same number. I would love to be wrong and be 20k or more but not realistic. Only sprinkled seats are for sale.No. 20% of 100k is 20,000.
