Epic Trolls on OSU

Id bet the house on that. Not saying it's split but it's gonna be way more than 12k. Hell I know damn near 50 going in my relatively close circle.
I agree! If around 35-40k fans can make the 4hr trip to see fricking NC State, surely the same amount or more can make the 5hr trip for a playoff game against Ohio State. Ticket Prices aren't too different in price at this point.

with the high-ticket prices in Neyland all year, i would bet it's an easy 40k tomorrow night. if i didn't have to move after the NC flooding and buying all new furniture, i would have already gotten tickets.

Interesting theory: secondary ticket sellers are exaggerating the ticket purchase ratios to induce increased demand from both fanbases.

Ya, i don't know but I think we'll be presently surprised. That 42% stuff that's sort of last week news in my mind, some one can correct me. But I assume that was then, there have been many purchases since then and additional tickets enter the market since that time as well.
And I realize that was based on resell ticket info but I haven't heard an update..

I do know that I went to Dicks to buy a new orange tobbagan hat... they had a lot last week, zero yesterday, alumni sold out as well, bought the last one at kohl's had lol. And I know it's Christmas etc.. Just made me wonder. I'm in mid tn.

2 of us going, 4 from my neighbors house... so hopefully it'll be a big turn out for Vols.

We'll know soon! Go Vols!

This is not even the same concept. That was a neutral site with a different allotment of tickets. We’re talking about an away game allowing us 3,500 tickets and finding a way to get to 40k. I am aware we had a huge turnout in Death Valley a few years ago, but we’ll see. I really hope we do.

At the same time, this is a playoff game in Ohio State's stadium. Not some matchup with a mediocre ACC team. This should be a bucket list item for some fans. And tickets are widely availble for under $100. This is a no brainer.

Got to remember all these percentages are coming from just one ticket vendor. I believe most will be shocked at the number of vol fans there but you might not see it show due to most fans not having heavy orange coats

I think we will get to around 12-15k, just based on the raw math of it all. Would love to see more, but I just don’t think it will happen.

The wildcard is how many Tennessee fans got in on the ticket preorder at tOSU. What is clear is that tOSU had enough of a panic attack over that to start begging people not to sell on the secondary market. That might swing things a bit.
