Equipment truck in an accident

Looking closely this is Roane Transportation truck and trailer. Makes sense for the university to contract the trucking out rather than buying its own equipment and paying a driver... but being the AD Danny White is I'm sure he won't miss an opportunity to raise donation fund like he did with the goalposts that we tore down.

Being a truck driver myself, you're always a split second from something like this happening out there. Head on a swivel at all times. The way the wheels are mangled up it looks like this may have started with a tire blowout.
I think he ate up that jersey wall

The contributions from the goal post campaign didn't go to athletics but to the university.

It was actually a pretty astute marketing move not because of the money they raised from it but because of all the new donors that contributed to UT for the first time . And it also got a lot of national media attention.

So sad :( truckers are heroes and I hope they invent tires that don't blow up like c4 bombs when they have blowouts some day. Lucky he's alive

That's if that's what happened.

Been driving 15 years. I had a steer tire blow once mering onto 75 south in Chattanooga. Thankfully got it to the shoulder safely. Did call dispatch asked for a new tire and a new pair of pants

Driver lost control, don't quite understand it, I'm not letting a Car push me into a wall. Probably over-reacted. And a Blown tire is not reason enough to wreck your vehicle. Hold it steady and grind to a halt. The best Truck drivers can handle most any situation, other than a Head on. Distraction and over compensation are the major reasons for what could have been a minor deal developing into a major problem. That said, I'll be interested in the official report.

The sad thing is that it has gotten much "better".

Going back maybe 7-8 years ago they had some really interesting routing while they were doing construction (in reality they are always doing construction).

It is a white knuckle drive through that area every time.

Two states in this country that are the absolute worst to drive through are Kansas and Arkansas hands down.
And south of Asheville on 26 south.

I would bet good money that you don't have to worry about ticket prices because you probably don't attend any games-----am I right
Don’t bet too much of your good money because I’m a season ticket holder at every home game and the occasional away game.
