Eric Berry's dad must be hella athletic.. Or his mom..
to keep making kids of this kind of Phenom

His dad, James Berry, was a three-year starter, four-year letterman, and a 1981 team captain for us. Also, I believe he played for the Dallas Cowboys, so Eric has a pedigree.

NEW COACH does kill alot of threads, but govols182 constantly harassing him gets old as well.

Going back to the topic, I wonder if the QB is wanting to stay at QB or if it is like most middle school teams and the best athlete plays QB?

Berry played QB in high school so I suspect it will be about the same.

I would love to see a Berry as a UT QB. Only If he can pass; you know he's fast, stong, and athletic.

I agree that he's an amazing safety, but i do think EB would be the next michael vick (before bad newz) if he ever was switched to qb. In all honesty, i haven't seen moves like his since the aforementioned Vick

honestly i dont want to mess with anything that could get him hurt or screw him up at safety. He's perfect where he is

In a Chris Low article on ESPN.com Eric Berry says his two 13 year old twin brothers are more talented at that age than he was. He even joked that Evan already committed to UT. Imagine if he is right and they both come here!!

ESPN - Florida rout still fresh in Vols' minds - SEC

There used to be the same dream with Eli Manning and Jimmy Clausen. Hopefully these guys work out better for the Vols.

Eli and Jimmy didn't have a father who played at UT.

The Berry's have a much longer history with UT than the Manning and Clausen families.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope it brings the Berry twins to Knoxville.

Yep, I had the same exact thoughts. The fact their father played at UT makes a big difference.

Having his twin brothers start as safetys or cornerbacks would definately be a chug in the Vols beer bowl drinking game.
