Did Eric Garner die from the choke hold? Are we sure about that? The video I saw there were like 4 to 5 cops in contact with his body and kneeling on top of him. I wouldn't be surprised if he died from crush/positional asphyxia.

How did that help Mr. Garner? Granted the cops weren't wearing cameras, but there was video evidence of the choke hold. Still didn't lead to an indictment of the cop.

Wasn't somebody slamming his head into the sidewalk? I think those 4-5 cops contributed to his death as much as the cop with the chokehold.

Seriously? You guys are blaming his health and not the fact that the cops caused the medical situation which this man ultimately died from?

If we've learned anything from Ferguson it's that you should wait until later in the evening. 10pm was pretty much the "belooting" hour there.

It should be pretty nasty later. I think the NYPD will be harder on the rioters than the Ferguson cops and Missouri National Guard was on those rioters.

The hold was against policy not law. There's no day in court for an organizational policy.

The National Guard wasn't there for the looting/burning that took place in Ferguson.
