Well, we laid an egg in '08 and laid about half of one last year, IMO. Had two approximately/arguably top ten classes following those years. To blindly assume that the recruiting class quality will necessarily go hand-in-hand with the team's record on the field is clearly not logical.

And since the last two years directly dispute your conclusion, it's certainly not 'reality' either.

Haven't thought about any of these, but dang, each is not that far-fetched. Good predictions. My prediction, Fulmer to Michigan? Just kidding.

I have to wonder if some are this stupid enough to believe we won't finish in the top 25 or if their life is just so pathetic that all they can do is troll. Nothing like acting like a comedian or internet tough guy after a day of flipping burgers.

1) This is possible, although with the easy schedule they have this year, I just don't see it.
2) Decent possibility of this happening.
3) Idk why Lance Thompson would want to leave UT, but who knows?
4) See #1.
5) If Michigan passes over Jim Harbaugh for Les Miles, they will be in even worse shape as a program than they are now with RichRod at the helm.

Won't happen, even if UGA struggles. 2011 will be a different story though.

i feel like johnson will be the only one to sign with us. the rest i just don't see it happening unless other teams start running out of schollys. i see no reason to believe that we will be a top 25 class either. i just hope dooley is as good of judge of players as ferentz in iowa or we are screwed. the rest of the sec is loading up.

right now being 9th in the SEC in recruiting doesn't make me feel to good vader. like i said i hope he evaluates players real well, because i don't think this season is gonna win over many players, unless they like early playing time

We are in on more than that.

This class will have a few big splashes but I expect to hand out 25 scholarships and fill needs.

There will be so many decommits, last minute drama queens, negative recruiting, academic casualties, fired coaches it will make your head spin. Don't get serious until about December.

Unless they have added staff and money, ESPN's Scout, Inc is the worst evaluators of the 3 major recruiting svcs.

I have to dissagree. I believe that ESPN is by far the most accurate. Rivals has the name but really little else. I am considering dropping my Rivals.
