Linkster...not taking sides at all but Cooper did, indeed, make the U17 Team but had to give up her spot because she needed surgery (tonsillectomy). Just google Cooper and U17 team and you'll find articles stating she was on the team from Prospects Nation, among others.
I'm surprised they don't list her on the USA site. I really don't follow high school players very much and just relied on the USA site for my information.
