ESPN hates TN. What now?

espn loves espn and they hate everybody else, including Tennessee. Tennessee (Tennessee fans) got singled out in the 90's because they dared to take espn on during the Heisman fight. espn wants to control everything in the sports world. Kind of like big media controls politics.

It's clear those bastards at espn couldn't wait to hire Pearl and Dooley so they could get some dirt on us.

dooley probably showed 'em how to use soap instead

Think they got their pantys in a wad lately because of the Gruden thing. They obviously wanted him to stay so they acted like UT fans were a laughing stock if they thought Grude would come here, in essence telling the sports world that Gruden would be a fool to come here...also explains why the only people that reported on the whole deal were local reporters and VN folks. ESPN did all they could to cut the legs out from under the story, and then hammered us when some of us were upset that Gruden didnt come. I think they knew that what was going on was a 3-way contract negotiation and we were JGs leverage. But how would they report that? Their guys like Scott VanPelt or whatever calling us "crybabies" was pretty unprofessional since they wanted Gruden, too. Just hope Butch and the gang in Knoxville can win games and we can move on. ESPN has less cred than they had imo.

So, it is ESPNs fault that UT provides them with highlight reel plays by other teams? Maybe if the Vols wouldn't give up a 60 yard punt return where almost every cover man touches the return man we wouldn't be in this situation.

Definitely not ESPN's fault entirely. UT definitely gives up the big plays, but ESPN a-l-w-a-y-s gets in a "UT getting butt banged highlight reel" from a team they're talking about. When they show past season's footage, that's eff'ed up in my opinion and just a straight up :finger3: from ESPN to UT

If there is a big play against the Vols (or anyone), ESPN won't omit it just to keep from hurting some feelings. You don't like it, don't give up the plays or ban all recording equipment so there is no evidence of it.

When literally every team has at least one play of 60 yards or more against us, any argument of a jab is irrelevant.
