Espn just made a pt and used Urban cryer to do it

I think that there should be a certain level of grammatical skill required before a person can post a new thread. I couldn't force myself to read the OP's post and I wanted to know what Urban said about UT BBall.

If you had a tough tine with that, then you must really beat your head on the wall when reading some posts here. It really wasn't that bad. There were Some mispellings, some of which were intentional. There was one sentence that I noticed lacked a proper subject/verb. There might have been others, but it read well enough that they didn't stick out or cause mass confusion, IMO.

Anyone else find the whole Urban Meyer thing odd? Did he just burn out? The guy is too young to be setting up there with the stooges.

Urban should have probably took off for a while, spent that time with his family. I'm tired of looking at him.

Espn did another segment on UT BB. They said they asked Meyer who is now an anal cyst for them and he shared that according to the standards the ncaa wants to set they have to make UT fire him and then the ncaa must ban him from coaching. He said they cannot have no standard on things like this if they want to clean up college sports. He sahred they cannot be hard on athletes and not on coaches. That there is a difference in breaking rules on accident but when you flat out lie you should get as close to a death penalty as possible. Now I was pissed when I heard it came from quitter cryer. But aside from that I do agree with what is being said. They have to have a scare tactic to keep it balanced because you cannot find all the bad stuff going on so you have to have it there.

fixed your typo

That's not what Dakich and Dykes were saying last night. They were simply saying that while there's plenty of nefarious stuff going on, people in the business know who the real scum are. Dan then launched into his call for the permanent banning of Bruce Pearl. I don't think it's hard to read between the lines there to see what I've been saying on here for years about Pearl's standing among his peers is accurate.

I know youve always hated Pearl, hat but do you agree with these guys that he deserves a permanent ban?

If Pearl gets a show cause could he sue the SEC for their punishment since there was no NCAA hearing yet and it is not their usual way of handling these things? Could he sue the University for their highly unusual punishment that included a pay cut Prior to hearings and findings. I am not sure if this has ever been done before the NCAA findings come out.

I don't want him gone but I doubt the NCAA will cross ESPN and their anti UT clan.

Wait...so you would side with Pearl in a lawsuit AGAINST Tennessee?

And, given that he had and hand in developing the punishment, seems a stretch.

Oh there's no way he should win if the school has any idea what it's doing. I just wasn't aware there were many posters here who are actually hoping for Pearl to sue UT or rooting for him to win.

Be careful - If we start imposing standards of grammatical skill we might end up kicking half of the posters on here off the board, including me.

Then how's Freak gonna feed his kids?

Just think of it as embracing the wonderful diversity of the Great VolNation

Yeah, it has nothing to do with 20 years of being a phony, pious snitch.

If you want to use this particular point (Pearl snitching), wouldn't that be the one time he did display integrity? Nevermind what it was about (which is what you do concerning the subject of the Pearl's lies), could he not argue that he was trying to uphold an atmosphere of compliance in the NCAA?

You are making too much sense.

The SI cover story today should end any credibility Meyer has on the topic.

By secretly taping a phone conversation with a 17 year old kid, then splicing it so much that the 'AA disregarded it as evidence?

A major show of integrity by Pearl. Report others, but damage the evidence to the point it can't be credible. Unbelievable that his information was not credible since that is so out of character for him.
