I just started here, so I have no cred against being banned. No Quotes from me. I won't shed a tear if ESPN was to collapse. I personally feel people are tired of non-stop garbage spewing out of the mouths of arrogant and politically correct so called "sports journalists". I also think they've over saturated the market. The question that hits close to home is how this could impact future agreements with the SEC? Again, I won't shed a tear if the SEC Network were to dissolve. Slimebaum and Greg McElroy? Really? That's unbiased Bammer coverage for you. Did Slimebaum really graduate from UT? Seems impossible.
Undisputed>first take
So to watch a game no matter what channel what do you'll use? Im not talking about on a 5 inch phone screen or tablet.
If you cut and your wanting to watch your team on your 65" TV no matter what channel it's on what do you all use/suggest?
Depending on your setup you can easily find somewhere on the internet to watch whatever you want to watch and then have it stream to your tv. I do it for almost every ufc and boxing ppv
All of this is dependent on your stance on streaming something you didn't pay for though. It's not for everyone but it's out there and easily done
How do u do it?
What Disney social change/liberal agenda do you see on ESPN?
What Disney social change/liberal agenda do you see on ESPN?
Travis has become obsessed with this topic. It's funny how he casually ignores or downplays FS1's subscriber numbers.
The question is what bizarre behavior haven't we seen. Its not restricted to stupid made up social/political issues either. I would say a good portion of the commentators on ESPN are more akin to TMZ reporting. I mentioned earlier that I didn't think it was one solid issue as the reason why people are dumping ESPN and cable, but its multiple issues personal to each individual.
- Cost
- Cost v. worth
- Strange social/political issues
- Fake information, yes, we completely live in a world will people willingly put out fake info for $$$
- Trying to create a story where one doesn't exist
- TMZ type reporting
- Click bait
- Race baiting
- Bad programming
- Horrible telecasters
These things are not limited to ESPN, its just very noticeable on ESPN.
Below is an example of someone that is clearly someone that doesn't know how college hiring works or is just a yellow journalist trying to create a story. imo It's TMZ type reporting, not only was his information wrong or premature, there is no reason for the rant to begin with. Then the day after Coach O is hired, you have X number of these douchebags going on rants saying how bad the hire is. This happens every day on ESPN and other networks and people are just over it I think.
Glad ESPN doesn't get my money anymore.... maybe one day they go under. (I won't shed a tear, they are a cesspool)
ESPNs Mark May destroys LSU over handling of Tom Herman reports Fan Buzz
Stupid question, but how does one unsubscribe from ESPN? Would I have to cancel Directv completely, or can I just get rid of ESPN? My internet is terrible, so cordcutting is not really an option. Any advice would be appreciated.
How about going back to showing highlights on Sportscenter. Those were the days. Now its just a talk show and gets really old.
