I agree, the Arky hire is not a good hire 'with a big name proven winner'; has anyone seen what a crappy conf the Big 10 is? Wisconsin is the king of the dip s**ts....they would be a .500 team in the SEC this year. Bielema will have a hard time recruiting Texas which was a stated goal of Jeff Long. Dont get it. Besides, I imagine it is not easy recruiting a coach to Arky.....you have to beat Nick Satan and LSU (not to mention Johnny Football for the next three years) to win your division. Every year, you are playing for 3rd or 4th in the West.

5 losses in the weak Big 10, with a 3 point win over Utah State is a very loose use of the term "proven winner". Arkansas can have him. Strong has a much better resume when it comes to predicting success in the SEC.

We didn't even hear reports of Hart doing anything until about 2 weeks after Dooley's firing. Now, everyone else seems to have gotten their guy while Hart is picking up leftovers. There's been nothing to enjoy about this process, just like the last coaching search.

Yes I saw it. UT to announce Charlie Strong. Woo wee. I am stoked what a great deal for us to get another mediocre coach from an unknown league and expect success in the SEC. Hart is just like Hamilton.

You realize he was the Defensive Coordinator for Florida Gators when they won the National Championship, not once, but twice. This "mediocre" coach took a team from being 4-8 in 2009 to being in BCS bowl in 2012.
