That surprises me. I figured UCLA would get the nod. Romar must have done a good job of playing up the fact that Nate Robinson and Brandon Roy are both getting big run in the NBA.

This is just a half step down from Bloomington II. All those who are worried about Pearl leaving for this job should calm down a little. Arizona will lose all their upper tier players after this season, and now their '09 recruiting class is nil. A very possible one year fill in coach is not exactly going to be an endearing quality for the '10 class either. This program is going down in flames. The Phoenix will take another 5-6 years to resurrect in Arizona. Pearl's done his (re)bulding job. No interest in doing it again.
