Anyone see Doug Gottlieb's report? It appears the SEC is the trigger for the Super Conference. A&M, Mizzou, Clemson, and FSU "likely" to join SEC. I just got the text from espn.

FSU and Clemson add nothing to the markets. Already own northern Fla with Ga, Aub, and Bama. Nothing left in SC. Missouri at least adds St Louis possibly Kansas City.

I got this via text message from my ESPN News feed this morning:

ESPN News - Gottlieb: Source confirms Texas A&M to join sec; Clemson, Florida St, Missouri also likely to join.

Interesting... I would love for TAMU and FL ST to join, but Clemson and Mizzou not so much. I don't want us to get too big and those two schools aren't as well rounded with basketball as the others. Oh well..

True... But I don't want us getting too big.. Like Big East Basketball with 5000 schools. I kinda liked the SEC the way it was, but I didn't mind TAMU and FL ST joining. I just don't really have much for Clemson and Mizzou. TAMU and ST has more well rounded programs than the other two. Both TAMU and ST have top 15 football and basketball programs. Clemson and Mizzou not so much. Like I said, even though I welcome the thought of us inviting a couple good football AND basketball teams.....I just think Clemson and Mizzou is too much. It's kind of like being a small town store owner watching a Wal-Mart come into town. lol

Clemson will be cool.

More meaning to the USCe and Clemson battle

More meaning to the FSU/UF game

Its gonna be great

When everyone thought the Pac 12 or the Big 10 would be the facilitator, the SEC is in fact the facilitator that forms the Super Conference.

The SEC won't be the only 16 team conference, just the first.

wow another Orange coming on with Clemson...

I'm sure that will help the rivalaries develop bringing in
Mizzou/Tx A/M
Clemson/FSU

I don't see any of these teams taking over any traditional rivalries, outside FSU/Florida will be a big game

**** Clemson and Missouri. They suck. I don't want them.

This hurts Tennessee IMO. Makes to harder to recruit in sc, Fl, and Texas.
