Except it would put the rest of the team at risk for testing positive. Regardless of your opinion on the situation, we all know by now that a positive test disqualifies you, so hopefully we aren't playing the rest of this regional with half a team.

The fact that Vitello is waiting to address this post-game is not a good indication.
That tells me it is not an injury and not good news. Also, they would have announced if it was COVID related.
Vitello is anticipating an involved explanation with lots of questions from the media.
I'm sure the team knows, but an explosive announcement an hour before first pitch could still be a huge distraction.
You would not think the team leader would do something stupid to hurt the team.
Hope the kid is ok. This also could be a a private issue within Evan's family back home.

It’s not Covid and it’s not PEDs. There’s a lot of rumors and speculation. Hard to tell which one is true.

Id bet Covid. Results prolly just popped up. Im sure he was pissed and maybe why some think he had an argument with Coach V... If its Covid its time to treat it as a cold and decide for yourself if your actually sick

ER should be given the benefit of the doubt. No one actually knows what’s going on except for Tony V, Evan and his family. Tony V will give an explanation after the game to what is going on. But till then ER had been a great ambassador and great student athlete for UT. O one deserves to be drug through the mud before the facts are heard. Everyone enjoy the game and let’s pray for ER and the team. Everything is going to be ok. Just back away from the ledge and sit down.

I’m riding with ER and Tony V all day everyday. They are my people and I will not bash them. I trust Vitello with anything he says and wants to do when it comes to UT baseball.

You know everyone’s afraid of us when opposing teams fans are making up their own rumors. I seen one that said Danny white has a press conference tomorrow bc Vitello has been hiding that we’ve been using PED’s 🤣🤣🤣
