So its pearls fault our players shot too many threes against Bama.....LOL that is a stretch
Ah. I call um like I see um.
Stokes had a double double against Bama because he was busting his ass to grab the 3pt bricks off the glass.
When he finally ran out of gas and couldn't get off the floor anymore they just kept coming.
We were hearing it in the scrimmage against GT and still hearing it in the end.
Half time comment: Not getting the ball to Jarnell.
And when he did run out of gas we never saw the second best offensive rebounder on the team. What ever happened to the Yemi love?
Problem is guard play, plain and simple.
Seeing as how I plainly said it was on the players not sure how you got that from my post. But let me simplify that satement. I am not saying it was "pearl's fault" but the same players we have now commonly did the say thing when the great Bruce Pearl was here.
Point being sometimes it is on the players as much as the coach.
In Pearl's last season, Trae Golden and Skylar Mcbee both averaged 13 minutes per game, and Kenny Hall averaged 7.
That's exactly why I said "significant minutes".
So what common mistakes that we se now from this team did we see when Freshman Trae Golden was playing sparingly at 13 min/game, Mcbee at 12 min/game, Hall at 7 min/game, and McRae at 5 min/game.
It will be interesting to see how we spin "Pearl's fault" on this one.
Why would the outcome of this year be Pearls fault?
Which players? I don't remember any of the players currently on this team that got any significant minutes when playing for Pearl.

First of all you need to go read my original post and you would see the whole statement is taken out of context.
My poinst was simply to those whose hail Bruce Pear and yet bash Martin for our offense looking like it did against Bama when in reality is we have had a tendency to stand around and just jack up 3's against a zone way before Martin was here.
And about the players with significant minutes why would it matter? That is what they were doing during practice and that is what their upperclassmen showed them so naturally that is what they will learn. Golden, McBee and McRae all are guilty.
