My most fervent hope is that we get into a BCS bowl and play Boise State. Apparently all the people enamored with blue turf and beating the hell out of Utah State, Pocatello Junior College, and the Eastern Washington School of Cosmetology & Truck Driving have forgotten the Broncos ill fated trip to Athens last year. Anyone who says Boise State is a top 10 team should be banned from watching or discussing college football until they complete a thorough psychological evaluation.

You are forgetting the uncanny job superbrain Dan Hawkins has done with Colorado. Tha magic he has brought to the Buffs is bound to linger in Boise for awhile, making them a college football superpower.

Georgia completely exposed them, and after Boise lost that game everyone was saying "see, Boise isnt that good, they arent ready to compete" etc etc. And now thats totally been forgotten and all the bs "bcs buster" crap has started up again.

Vastly overrated team gets exposed on a season opener road game playing against a sec team, gets blown out, then the media has selective amnesia and declares said overrated team actually good and a threat to go to a bcs bowl. Hmm, boy does this sound familar but I cant quite put my finger on it...

Ok, So we are what 11 in the first BCS. No big deal we will move up as the season goes on aslong as we keep winning. Im not worried one bit. I know aswell as everyone else that the rankings are going to look way different after week 12. With that said I would like someone to explain how with Tennessee ahead of Cal in every ranking system did Cal end up ahead of us. Reading the BCS rankings online it makes absolutely no sense.

It's freaking sad that we only moved up 1 spot in the AP poll and aren't ranked in the top 10 in the BCS poll. BS

what does it take to get a an 8 team playoff with automatic bids for the SEC and BIG 12 champs and get rid of the BCS crap?

I agree the SEC get's no respect in the BCS especially with this just released and where UT is. Cal in front of you guys? I call bull crap!

yeah, it's BS, but keep in mind folks, we didn't play this weekand some teams got some wins that helped. And UGA losing ot Vandy really didn't help us one bit. that, while funny as hell, really devalued the win last week in the computers and some of the other polls.

We're 6 games in to a 12 game schedule. this will all work out in the end.

So relax folks...i'm with ya on the Cal thing and the pollsters did some weird things in the AP and coaches this weekend, but it will all work out in the end.

If we win the next 4 games, all will be right in the world...

and really, if we think back to pre season, rankings were not important then, just win as many games as possible and beat some of our rivals this year. Well so far, i'd say we've done pretty well at that...and if it continues, the polls will take care of themselves.

if we're 11-1, we'll be in a BCS game more than likely.
