Maybe, but I was high on Graham Mertz heading into this game and think he may be the best pure passer QB we face in the SEC. Rattler is ok. So is Carson Beck. Everyone else, I'm not too impressed with.

Also think Milton will either improve or get replaced with a 2nd loss.

We have three more scheduled wins. The good thing is: the sec is waaaayyyy down this year. There isn’t a game that we cannot win. It all depends on if we can find an identity. The bad thing is, we could easily lose all the tossup games. I still think we win 8 reg games. We are missing big pieces and OL is a year away. The WR aren’t great. The QB is average.

Got several more losses on the horizon if it's going to take a half for our defense to wake up and we keep playing Milton. Heupel doesn't trust him to throw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage for 2/3rds of the game. We're not beating UGA, Alabama, A&M or anyone worth their salt throwing bubble screens. Our best play is a handoff right now. That's what Joe Milton gives you.

Hey, we’ll see. I’ve seen a UT team that lost to Georgia State and BYU led by JT Shrout at QB beat South Carolina by 20 points. A football season is a marathon, not a sprint and it has its ebbs and flows. Tonight, nothing went our way, like the South Carolina game last year. There will be a game or games where everything does go our way, like last year’s LSU game or Mizzou in 2021.
