I haven’t seen any team on the schedule look great yet. No reason we can’t turn the season around. Just gotta execute better.

Well UF just won the only game of the year they care about . Sucks they going to win 5 games this year and UT was 1 of them lol . 6-6 maybe 7-5 . USCe will probably beat UT 48 to 10 at home

honestly I dont know. I still see a path to 10-2 (dont see us beating uga) but i also see the more likely 9-3 8-4. we absolutely cant control tempo with all these presnap penalties and it seems like we just dont handle crowd noise well. Last year UGA and South Carolina on the road brought out the worst in us. I think the offensive line desperately needs Cooper Mays back. Tackling and defensive awareness was pretty bad in the first half but it got better in the second. I feel like alot of it can be attributed to replacing so many starters and young guys learning to play and gaining experience. There were times were Herring looked so lost at lb, but I am still pretty confident hes going to grow into a good player for example. I think the WRs mostly played better then they did last week, part of me wonders whats up with the lack up sampson the other part of me recognizes that jalen wright is running like a mad man and carrying 6 people 5 yards for a first down. We have to start passing the ball over the middle, the amount of screens we are running are crazy and Im very conflicted about milton. Hes not playing good, but there is so many other not good things happening that I cant really access how much of it is on him, but a lot of me thinks we should get Nico going against utsa

At least I saw fight in the second half. The defense was absolutely awful in the 1st half. It’s hard to give a tip to Florida when your team plays like that. Offensively, the O-line better get better fast and I do not believe Milton can make the throws you need in pressure situations. He’s had all these years to get it together…this isn’t going to happen for him. Great kid…just not the QB you want leading your team . I think we lose 4-6 games if you stick with him unless we just take over the run game. His arm will not bail us out if we get down like tonight. The play calling has been awful but it’s likely do to the fact that they don’t trust their QB.

Until we quit with the penalties, and stop missing tackles, we ain’t winning much of anything in the sec. And Huepel needs to open up the offense and trust his playmakers. Have to win out to win the east and unless they commit to being the best team on the field by a large margin and have an infusion of passion, they won’t anywhere come close.

I think SCar is as good as FLA. That game in two weeks is worrisome. Mizzou in Columbia is not going to be a gimme. I lost a lot of confidence after last weekend. Tonight took the rest of it.
If we lose to south crapolina they should cancel the rest of the season. #only game I care about

I’ve seen us play like garbage in Gainesville many times, so I’m not ready to hit the panic button. I have not seen us lose to South Carolina at home often. If we lose that one, the panic button is officially pressed.
Thank you for a pragmatic post. Horrible game and many reasons for concern. But season is not over. A lot of opportunities to win some big games.

With Milton at QB, the defense will have to be relied on more, so I don’t see more than 7 wins. Milton is now 13th in the SEC for QBR.

Toss up against SC and Missouri. Probable losses to A&M, Alabama and GA.

After watching this debacle, my expectations have fallen from potentially going 10-2, to 8-4 at best. Interested to see what y’all think.
I'm pissed, disgusted, and disinterested. There was time, though, there in the 4th, we looked like a Heupel coached Tennessee team and had a glimmer of hope, we would do to UF what they have done to us so many times. Win in the last seconds. Penalties kept killing our drives. We had them stopped on 4th, but jumped offsides. Was in the redzone and got pulled back 30 yards.

Refs also obviously were biased to UF. They called some against us that was questionable and didn't call obvious penalties against them.

If last week didn't wake this staff and team up, I dunno what will. I want to say they figured it out there late in the game, but I think we're back to toilet bowl territory.

Losses to UF, aTm, Ga, Bama, and probably KY and SC. JM is our JG

I hope you’re right and that we started to get our crap together there at the end. However, I’m pretty sure Florida was playing super soft on D, and went vanilla on offense towards the end. What makes this game so frustrating is how it started. We actually held them to a long field goal, partially blocked it, then punched them in the mouth with a TD. I was dumb enough to believe at that point that the Florida curse was behind us.

Maybe, but I was high on Graham Mertz heading into this game and think he may be the best pure passer QB we face in the SEC. Rattler is ok. So is Carson Beck. Everyone else, I'm not too impressed with.

Also think Milton will either improve or get replaced with a 2nd loss.

Graham Mertz is terrible homie

7-5 or 6-6. Now if that record is reached with Milton as the QB from here on out then that’s unacceptable. I can live with that record if it’s with Nico.

Rattler is 10x the better passer than Mertz. Bits not even close. Hell I would love to have Rattler in our offense.

This just isn’t a very talented or disciplined team. Hopefully recruiting and some staff upgrades fix that. Fair to say the Heupel honeymoon is over and done.

Plenty of talent. It’s not being coached up correctly. Tim Banks, Willie Martinez and Glenn Elarbee need to be replaced.
