Expedition or Tahoe???

In a Suburban currently, but considering a Honda Pilot now. For me the Suburban has been a better experience than any Expedition I've ever driven.

I like the Suburban vs the minivan because it provides me with a personal sense of security for the wife and kids. Could be imaginary…but it is what it is.

Pilot is not a bad looking vehicle.

Speaking of the Integra...I think its something Honday is missing greatly. I think there's a bit of $$$ to be made in a similar car built now.

What kind did you have?

I have a friend from high school that still has an absolutely spotless GSR in the family. I want to say its a 93. The Dad bought it new and has kept it since. Its probably around 130-150k miles, but it impressively clean.

I had a 94 ls auto

Then I got a 2000 GSR, which I still miss dearly. That car was so nimble, I could make it go so much faster round the dragon than much 'faster' cars

Mine is the red one. The white one belonged to Thrasher865.

I wish Honda would make something like the integra again, they are really lacking in the fun department. Currently mazda is making the best affordable drivers cars. Mine is a hoot and the new 3 & 6 are getting rave reviews.

Cool cars.

Mazda certainly seems to be the main ones that 'get it' right now.

I LOVED getting 3s in through the used department. The used car inspection shakedowns were quite fun.

Yeah I don't care about MPG really. I just want a nice ride thats comfortable for me and anyone else in it.

I've been shopping around lately and been into the Lexus GX 460..but honestly the biggest different besides price from the Lexus to a regular SUV is just the quality of leather. In the end there is nothing else really special about the Lexus outside of styling.

why spend money on the GX when the Toyota Landcruiser is essentially the same thing?

the only time buying a Lexus over it's equivalent Toyota makes sense is when there is no equivalent, like the IS350 F.

The new Land Cruiser is awesome looking. The "millionaire nextdoor" would have a heart attack if his neighbor pulled in the driveway with that.

I personally like the new Sequoias and the F-150s

I really want to be a "Ford Truck Man" but the wife refuses to drive a pickup

Land Cruiser is actually more expensive. GX is based off a car they dont sell in the USA. I'd buy the Toyota model if they did.

I like the Sequoia. I am slowly test driving vehicles when I have time off from work. I kind of wish we had a automobile/motorcycle forum to pick the brains of fellow Vol fans and their cars. I dont trust motortrend posters when they talk about a Chevy SS being a beautiful car..

About to buy my wife a new ride. Our family has out grown our Traverse. What is everyone's thoughts on either?

P.S. I get a discount through my job for both Ford and GM. Ford I get the X plan which is about $4k off MSRP plus Ford has $5700 in rebates right now. Not sure what discount we get through GM yet.

Door handles will fall off any GM.

Motorsports - VolNation

It has been mainly race related, but it would work.

This is so true. The dealer I worked at would buy them by the truckload.

Odd, I work with GMs every single day on multiple platforms and have not run into this. I wouldn't say that door handle casualty rate is higher than any other brand.

I would put Crew up against any of them except maybe Nerd. he shouldn't have been left off your list.

The new ones aren't as bad. But the Chevy truck door handles in the late 90's to 2000's were the biggest culprit.
