I don't know how we does it considering he's played post for 2.5 years, but his timing is incredible. It's almost not even human.

There are only 10 players in the entire NBA that average a double/double. You talk to any NBA GM or scout and they will take 18/10 in their starting line-up all day long. Everyone acts like they are predicting Davis to come into the league and set scoring records and be the next "insert name." Everyone wants to go to one extreme or the other instead of being rational. Davis will be a great player in the NBA in 2 or 3 seasons.

You misunderstood. by NBA second team, I meant NBA All star second team (hence my then comparison to Pau gasol)

Do I think he will be this amazing world changer? No. John Wall has more talent than any Cal recruit not named Derrick Rose, and he has not turned the Wizards around or even improved them record wise. Davis has the chance to be a solid 2nd or 3rd best player on a contender. And that is his ceiling. That's not a knock, because it means he could be the top 50 players in the league at any given time (or an all star player on a given year). He simply will not be the next dwight howard, or even close.

I said it in another topic, he will be the next Hasheem Thabeet before he is the next dwight howard.

Davis is better offensively, but not a whole lot IMO. 3/4?of Davis points are off dunks. That won't happen in the NBA.

I remember him. The NBA team I follow had the misfortune of ending up with him. He was garbage.

Can't hold it against Davis. The kid is talented. but right on about Dykes. His love fest for UK is worse than Billy Packer was for the ACC. They got up by 5 and he was talking how they can't be beat. They got beat then only Brad Nessler was talking. It does get annoying. Like Vitale finds a way in any game he is broadcasting to talk about the Duke - UNC game.

I think your hatred for UK is making you think he will get owned in the NBA. He will be very good in the NBA, especially when he bulks up.

If he bulks up.
