A Kenyan government agency threatened Facebook with a suspension last week if it did not promptly remove advertisements intentionally submitted by a third party to test Facebook’s adherence to anti-Kenyan hate speech laws ahead of a general election on August 9, though Kenyan government ministers said on Monday that such a suspension would not occur, Voice of America (VOA) reported.

Was he enabling child porn over his telephone system?

You don't think the telephone was a platform for facilitating some awful ****?

It's completely ******** to grandstand like that and tell lies, like that Facebook "did absolutely nothing." Of course some bad **** happened on Facebook. Hundreds of millions of people interact on there everyday. Hawley and the rest of the federal government are completely incompetent, and it's hilarious that anybody thinks they have the credibility to dress Zuckerberg down like this.

Let's put Hawley in front of some lawyers who just get to tear him down for all the bad **** that's happened on his watch. "Apologize to the victims of gun violence." and so on.

If Facebook wasnt protected under 230 do you think Zuckerberg would have been held responsible???? But because he is there is every right to ask why this wasnt removed, but stuff like Hunters laptop story was removed..

Maybe there's something from this story that I'm missing. Did the FBI alert FB to content that needed to be pulled, and FB didn't pull it? What are we talking about here? I understand the problem to be that FB didn't catch every instance of child exploitation. That's the problem, right?

The FBI told Facebook the Hunter Biden story was BS, so they took it down, right? If the FBI did the same thing in these cases, I'm sure FB would have complied.

I would guess that Hawley and most Americans actually believe that it's the government and FBI's job, as much as Facebook's, to find child exploitation on Facebook and remove it.

Don't be naive Huff. You damn well know FB and the other social media platforms have been breeding grounds for child predators.
