I don't have as much faith in Worley after seeing the APSU game.North would have had two touchdowns if Worley hadn't under thrown him so much.He didn't have much pressure and still way short.I like Worley and believe he is the best QB we have.Maybe he was just nervous that first game and he does much better against WKU.I'll be there cheering for the Vols, just hope it was nerves Worley was having.

1st pass was decent and not behind him. North heard the foot steps of the safety and did not get down and under the ball or else that would have been a big game and not a td. Spot on with the 2nd pass though.

Worley and Butch have both said that its timing issues because North is a freshman. Posters need to calm down blaming Worley for everything.

With that said, I still think Fergusons ends up as our QB before the season is over. I'm scared for Worley scrambling when we hit SEC play.

I believe he will be more accurate this week.I know that I would be nervous to the 1st game before a 100,000 fans!

Jones' said this about Worley's game Saturday: "He played winning football for us".

I listened to his entire 30 minute press conference and did not catch him saying anything like that about anyone else.

My faith to the extent I have it at this point is in Jones. He appears to have faith in Worley.

James likewise had some pretty strong props for Worley. Again, another guy you listen to when it comes to what's going on with the team.

All Worley has to do is game manage. We will be a running/option/short pass team this year.

CBJ also said that North didn't run the correct depth of the route and that fans are too quick to blame the QB.

He'll be fine...I hope.

13 dropbacks. 13 balls that hit the WR's in the hands. You can't expect much more. He made some great decision, especially on the TD's to Downs and Young.

Stats don't tell the whole story. He threw a couple of passes off his back foot, which against Austin Piss is no big deal, but it'll kill you against SEC competition. He still hasn't hit a receiver in stride.

He's the best we got though.

He exceeded my hopes against AP. His progression through his reads and decision making were encouraging. He'll be up and down probably , but things are looking up for us.

Maybe he's throws weren't completely on target, but I felt like he made good decisions. Much better than when Peterman came in.

How many points did we score with Worley vs. Peterman, enough said!

1 game and no faith, plus North should have had 2 more catches and he blew it, first game jitters lets see Worley in a real game before we put the hammer on him.:bash:

It amazes me how people go to such depths to find something to b*#$h about. The guy completed 11 of 13 passes in the first half. No matter who the competition, he got the job done. If you want to complain, at least wait until he has a bad game. All we need right now is a leader for this offense. Apparantly Butch thinks he is the man for the job and that's enough for me!
