Actually, no you couldn't. Every state that left was a slave state. The vast majority of slave states left, the only ones that remained were border states.

What? you mean like Federal worker pension/401k? There are millions of white federal workers (3)..and a couple hundred thousand blacks...so no if that's what you are talking about.

And who cares if they do receive a more as a percentage of population, it doesn't mean they are receiving a lot of money. Average black family wealth = $4,000. White family wealth average = $115,000..

The answer is simple, most everyone would support them if they were willing to pay their share of national debt and forfeit any federal assets (to include military bases).

"Just pay $360 billion of your share of the national debt that we spent without your input and we still get to keep land we believe is rightfully ours."

What about national forests? Shouldn't the Federal Government be allowed to keep those as well? Or BLM land? I mean, why stop at just the military bases?

Were there conditions put on the Colonies when they revolted against the UK? And again, where in the Constitution does it say States cannot leave?

I'm sorry your sheep mentality means you think you have to get permission from the Federal Government to take a whiz whenever you want.

Who said they need permission? But plenty of wars have been fought over money. Yes, a state leaving the union should pay a portion of the national debt. If they refuse, then they should be invaded. It's their responsibility.

This isn't some federal government loving sheep mentality as you try to claim. It's reasonable and based on common sense.

And are you really making sheep noises now? Did you leave the board and become a 3 year old?

Yeah, because another Civil War over a national debt spiraling out of control is certainly preferable to letting someone leave the Union. That's using common sense there bud.
