What about bye weeks ?
It's all done in-house. I am a college professor and use some of my students as the data analysts and they all helped design the program we use to keep up with the stats. They get hands-on experience with a program they helped design and a little extra credit, and I get to get paid to look at college football stats. It's a win-win haha. Plus this way I can correct the numbers if I catch any errors.
Looks like a great lineup
Will try a quick basic overview of a small skeleton league and how things will work here.
There will be 3 tables.
Table 1 will have your weekly points for that week:
QB RB WR/TE DEF/ST K
Team 1 42 15 35 10 6
Team 2 20 32 15 7 12
Team 3 21 25 28 14 15
Table 2 will have your total points accumulated for season up to that point (like this could be week 4):
QB RB WR/TE DEF/ST K
Team 1 160 68 130 81 70
Team 2 180 124 112 78 68
Team 3 210 132 156 75 61
Table 3 will be your standing in each category and the points you earned for each spot. If you have highest points in that category you get highest ranking for that category and the lowest gets the least and then the totals are added up to produce your position in the league:
QB RB WR/TE DEF ST K Total
Team 1 1 1 2 3 3 10
Team 2 2 2 1 2 2 10
Team 3 3 3 3 1 1 11
So going off that final table it tells us that Team 3 is currently in the lead since he has highest total number of points. There are 8 in our league so we will be ranked 1-8 on points as opposed to the 1-3 seen here. In the event there is a tie in total points the last week of the season the tiebreaker will be awarded to the team with the highest defensive ranking. After all, Defense wins championships.
